He was predeceased by: his parents, William Andrew Cloer Sr. and Roxie Passmore Cloer; his wife Ida Mae Ramey Cloer; and his siblings, Willa Mae "Bill" Tippett and David Cloer.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Cloer (Brenda) of Franklin and Angel Hudgins (Trip) of Candler; his grandchildren, Morgan Martin (Jacob), Tyler Cloer (Miranda), Neely Hudgins, Addison Hudgins and Sadie Hudgins; his great grandchildren, Beckett Cloer, Henley Martin, Laikyn Martin and Riggs Martin; his sisters, Pat Ballew (Joe) and Bennie Collett (Gene); his granddaughter Kristie Gold; and his close friend Martha Solesbee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at the Longview Baptist Church Cemetery (93 Jones Ridge Rd, Franklin, NC 28734).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kids Place.
