He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Shuler Ramey; his children, Scarlett Ramey and William Charles Ramey; and his siblings, Bessie Ramey Hopkins, Barbara Ramey Neal, Dorothy Ramey Diddle, Paul Ramey and David Ramey. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
