With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arturo A. Granados-Leon of Franklinton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2024 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by : his parents, Baby Leon and Arturo Granados, Sr.; and his sister Cecilia. He is survived by : the mothers of children, Sylvia Lima (Alejandro, Sr.) and Lorena Popovich (Lex); his grandchildren, Cecilia Taggart (Robert), Alejandro "Papo" Lima, Aniyah Hoffman (Joel), Koen Popovich (Alyson), Eliana Popovich, Brielle Popovich and Tal Popovich; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Ezra Hoffman, Brizielle and Isaiah Granados; and his siblings, Liliana Granados Leon, Olga Granados Leon, Gustavo Granados Leon (Emilia), Baby Granados Leon (Ricardo Cordero D.), Elizabeth Granados Leon (Alvaro Barrantes Chaves), Blanca Granados Leon, Carlos Granados Leon and Marisa Granados Leon. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bright Funeral Home (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Forest Memorial Garden (770 Stadium Dr, Wake Forest, NC 27587).

He donated his time and money to many charities throughout his life and even volunteered as a bilingual translator at the local hospital.
