He is survived by: his children, Kevin Hicks, Bobbie Kay Hicks Overby, Bridget Hicks Evans (Chris) and Tonya Hicks Thompson; his siblings, Herman Hicks and Jewel Hicks; his grandchildren, Cody, Trey, Chloe, Katlyn, Sharon, Kristen, Brandi, Hunter, Shiyane, Jessica, Craig and Angel; and his great grandchildren, Marquim, Damian, Zaria, Wrenlee, Colton, Dakota, Brielle, Blake, Ryhker, Taytum and Brayden.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Baptist Church (2725 Mount Olivet Church Rd, Franklinton, NC 27525). A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Church Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Baptist Church (2725 Mount Olivet Church Rd, Franklinton, NC 27525).
