As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joseph may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip DeFranco and Lucille Corrice DeFranco; and his brother Theodore DeFranco. He is survived by: his wife Sandra White DeFranco; his children, Laura DeFranco (Mike Wilkerson) of Raleigh, NC, Tony DeFranco (Jackie Avery) of Cortland, NY and Dan DeFranco (Hoa Tran) of Los Angeles, CA; and his siblings, Richard DeFranco (Chris Phillips) of Avondale, AZ and Donna King of Ogdensburg, NY.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Children, or a local animal shelter such as the Massena Humane Society, SPCA of Wake County, NC, or Franklin County, NC Animal Shelter.
