We are sad to announce that, on September 26, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Ruth Puryear of Franklinton, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie Humphries Goss and Bud Rowland Goss; her son James "Jimmy" Champion; her grandson James "Jamie" Russell Champion; and her daughter Linda Champion Tilley.
She is survived by: her daughter Virginia Bradshaw; her grandchildren, Kimberly Wheeler (Benson) and Michael Todd Champion; and her great grandchildren, Allyson Culbreth, Victoria Champion, Travis Culbreth and Mark Culbreth.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Banks Methodist Church or to a charity of your choice, in her memory.
