Scott L. McElwaine Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott L. McElwaine of Franklinton, North Carolina, who passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William and Phyllis Kay McElwaine; and his son John McElwaine. He is survived by: his wife Tammy J. Sims McElwaine; his children, Jenifer, Robert and Christopher McElwaine; his siblings, David McElwaine and Heather Flowers; and his aunt Lova McElwaine.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bright Funeral Home (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cross Assembly North Campus (6561 Meridien Dr, Raleigh, NC 27616).
