Tibor Cseszneki Obituary
Tibor Cseszneki, age 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Franklinton, North Carolina, on January 28, 2026.
Born on October 5, 1961, in Hungary, Tibor carried a lifelong curiosity about the world and a deep appreciation for hard work, learning, and human connection. He later made the United States his home, where he built a life rooted in skill, service, and generosity.
Tibor was a remarkably skilled handyman and mechanic—someone who could fix nearly anything and was always willing to try. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, reflecting both his intellect and determination. More than titles or credentials, however, Tibor was known as a true free spirit: independent, kind-hearted, and always eager to help others.
Volunteering and lending a hand came naturally to him. Whether repairing something for a neighbor, offering his time to a cause, or simply showing up when someone needed support, Tibor gave freely and without expectation. His quiet generosity and steady presence touched many lives.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ibolya; his son, Daniel; and his three sisters, Kata, Bea, and Anita. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. Tibor's legacy lives on in the many hands he helped, the problems he solved, and the quiet kindness he shared so generously with the world.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel, 504 E Mason St, Franklinton, NC 27525, at 2pm.
