It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Homer Lowery of Franklinton, North Carolina, who passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Cleveland Lowery, Sr. and Letha Mae White Lowery; his former wife Jean Kearney Lowery; and his siblings, Mary Lowery Kemp, Fairis Lowery Cambell, Kate Lowery McCree, Luther Cleveland Lowery, Jr., Raeford Arvel Lowery and Tony Alfred Lowery, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his daughters, Teresa L. Dowless (Don) of Georgia and Vivian L. Aloisi (Tommy) of Youngsville; his grandson Matthew Lowery (Amanda) of Willow Spring; and his sisters, Clara L. Briggs of Wake Forest, Beatrice L. Harrison of Wake Forest and Betty L. Boughman of Youngsville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
