He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claude Julius Mills and Lois Walker Mills; his wife Heather Jan Johnson-Mills; his sons, Matthew Dillon Mills (Alysia) and Reid Walker Mills of Waxhaw; his grandchildren, Evan, Owen Mills, Kelsey, Memphis and Jackson Mills; his father-in-law Jessie Thomas Johnson; his siblings-in-law, Robert Thomas Johnson (Peggy), Kerry Joe Johnson (Tonyia) and April Johnson Corder (Cameron); his nieces and nephews, Logan Thomas Johnson, Lia Elizabeth Johnson, Stephanie Ryanne Corder (Patrick), Brooks Wingate Corder (Addie), Joseph Houston Johnson (Catherine), Kerry Clayton Johnson and Jessie Grayson Johnson; and his great-nephews, Ezariah Christopher Buncy and Draven Daniel Thomas Johnson.
