She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Davis; her daughter Tressa Fox; her parents, Virgil Hunt and Mary Everhart Hunt; and her sister Elizabeth H. Cushman.
She is survived by: her children, Henrietta "Penny" Trogdon (Deevon Yates) of Seagrove and Jeffrey "Scotty" Davis (Wanda) of Liberty; her brother Virgil Lee Hunt, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Taylor Norris, Chad Davis, Jeremy Davis, Tasha Fox, Jason Fox, Jessica Lavway and Nathan Trogdon. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Whites Memorial Baptist Church (2930 Whites Memorial Rd, Franklinville, NC 27248). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
