He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dallas and Mary Louise Poole Morton; his son James Michael Morton; and his sister Patricia Morton. He is survived by: his wife Norvella Gray Morton; his children, Gina Morton Smith (Ted), Louisa Morton Garner (Larry), Rhonda Morton Boone and Gary Wayne Morton (Debbie McNeill); his grandchildren, William Morton, Emily Smith, Katie Allen (John Harden), Ethan Smith, Cassidy Garner (Chance Kivett), Jesse Boone and Ashton Morton; his great grandchildren, Willow Coleman, Wesley Adams, Ryan Smith, Zelda Coleman, Bryan Morton, Luna Morton, James Morton, Kylynn Boone and Ellie Kivett; and his aunt Shelva Jean Bass.
