It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazel Brower York of Franklinville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill York; her parents, George Dewey and Rossie Hussey Brower; and her siblings, Richard Brower, Jimmy Brower, Edwin Brower, Janice Ann Curin and Imogene Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Terry York of Blufton, SC and Lynne Owens (Byron) of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Sarah Browne (Eric) of Blufton, SC, Victoria Owens of Seagrove, Matthew Owens (Irena) of Asheboro and Elizabeth Owens of Washington, DC; her great grandchildren, Avery Browne, Rosalie Quinn and Beckham Owens; and her niece Joyce Brower. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
