He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dail and Bertha Lanier Dail; his wife Rose Ann Dail; and his sons, Roger Dail and James Robert Dail.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Dail (Nikki), Christopher Dail and Tiffany Dail; his daughter-in-law Carrie Dail; his sister Ann Lee English of Chinquapin; and his grandchildren, Oriana Rose Dail, Travis Holland and Tristan Dail.
