She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry "Frog" and Flora Proctor Tripp; and her granddaughter Lexie Ann Seagle. She is survived by: her husband Larry Barnes of Fremont; her daughters, Rebecca Seagle (Brandon) of La Grange and Bridget Brown (Nathan) of Selma; and her granddaughters, Alaina Blake Seagle (Ladybug) and Emma Grace Brown (Doodlebug).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home (102 N Pine St, Fremont, NC 27830).
