She was predeceased by: her parents, Carville Banks Clark, Sr. and Mary Lee Powell Clark; her former husband R. Gaither Snipes, Sr.; her son Russell G. Snipes, Jr.; her brother Banks; and her siblings-in-law, Cheryl Clark and Chester Snipes.
She is survived by: her son Russ; her husband Snipes Oil; her daughter Jayne Elizabeth Snipes Wall (Charles W. Wall); her grandchildren, Keith Wall (Kelsey), Ryan Wall (Sara Grace), Hudson, Kingston, Vivienne and Wyatt; her sister-in-law Rosalyn Snipes; her sibling's children, Betsy Snipes Griswold, Diane Snipes, Carville "Carl" Banks Clark, III and Gloria Elizabeth Clark Martin (Bobby); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Paul Vernon Griswold, IV, Lauren Griswold Miller, Jayne Elizabeth Martin and Sanders Banks Martin.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials be made to the SPCA of Wake County, 200 Petfinder Lane, Raleigh, NC 27603 or the Cemetery Fund of Wake Chapel Christian Church, 905 Wake Chapel Road, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
