She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Wade Dixon and Iris Dawson Dixon. She is survived by: her husband Henry Bryan Edwards; her sons, Chris Edwards (Sabra) of Portland and Eric (Carol Edwards) of Fuquay Varina; her grandchildren, Lauren Steiger (Todd), Joseph Edwards (Katie), Liam Edwards and Isabella Edwards (James Smith); and her great grandchildren, Catherine, Jonathan, Margot and Forrest.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery (6628 Good Hope Church Rd, Cary, NC 27519).
