It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Stephen Ashworth (Fuquay Varina, North Carolina), who passed away on July 19, 2022, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Ethel Ashworth, Harold and Marie Cundiff; and his pet Duke.

He is survived by: his parents, James Stephen Ashworth and Pamela Cundiff Ashworth; his wife Mary Kristen Ashworth; his sisters, Stephanie Marie Hulbert (Ben), Carla Ashworth Molnar (Steve) and Jamie Ashworth Riegert (Pike); his nieces, Cadence, Kendall Molnar, Morgan and Sydney Riegert; and his pet Dixie.
