He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Sears and Gladys Sears; his brother Harry Lee Sears; his son Clark Sears; and his granddaughter Katie Sears.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Sears; his brother Larry Sears; his grandchildren, Thomas and Shavonne Sears; and his great grandchildren, Thomas, William Sears, Aschton Reed and Ella Liles.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church Cemetery (238 Chalybeate Rd, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526).
