He was predeceased by : his parents, Coy Sears and Exie Lee Sears; his wife Barbara Vaughan Sears; and his siblings, Wayne Sears and Peggy Sears.
He is survived by : his children, BJ Sears and Karla Allen (Patrick); his grandchildren, Mikayla and Rilee Allen; and his siblings, Brenda Harrell (Linwood), Carson Sears (Ernestine) and Johnnie Sears (Glindra).
