She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Tutor; and her daughter Patricia "Diane" Segroves Herndon. She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Lewter; her stepchildren, Ryan Tutor and Jana Tutor Askeland; her grandchildren, Kevin Watkins, Katie Tutor, Colton Askeland and Beckett Askeland; her great grandchildren, Adelynn Watkins and Grayson Watkins; and her siblings, Jane Weaver, Martha Kacperski and James Harrelson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home (401 N Ennis St, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Duncan Baptist Church (12024 NC-42, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27540).
