He is survived by: his wife Patsy Yarborough Edwards; his children, Richard Edwards (Megan), Lisa Heller, Michele Freeman (Mike) and Wally McLean; his grandchildren, Zachary Freeman, Savannah McLean, Baili Heller, Jonah Heller, Sophie McLean, Lauren Edwards, Will Edwards, Mia Edwards and Jack Heller; his sister Jeanie Tomkins (Don); and his nephew Brent Hudgins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Neill's Creek Baptist Church Refresh Project.
