She is survived by: her parents, Janice Frances McRoy and Willie Clifford McRoy; her brother Will McRoy; her sister-in-law Patricia Kultgen; and her sibling's children, Jakob Scott Shields, Matthew Moore Shields, Grace Lillian Shields and Molly Samantha Shields.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (10005 Lake Wheeler Rd, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
