He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ray Bryant and Josephine Strickland Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Lora Stephenson Bryant; his stepsons, Corey Stephenson (Cecelia), Chris Ridgely (Hannah) and Chad Ridgley (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Brycen, Caleb Stephenson, Layla, Lacey Jane Ridgely, Cecil Colebrook and William Ridgely; and his siblings, Ray Bryant (Billie), William Bryant (Sally), Robert Bryant (Rey), Donna Alexander (Joe) and Connie Bryant Aull. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made Kipling United Methodist Church, 55 Kipling Church Road, Kipling, NC 27543.
