He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Halsey and Grace Halsey (Rice); his daughter Denise Moore (Halsey); his grandchildren, Addison Clara Moore and Lucas Kenneth Moore; Grace Halsey (Rice).
He is survived by: his wife Judith Kay Bearrows; his daughter Dawn Swayney (Brian); his granddaughter Sara Swayney; his sister Beverly Palumbo; and his brothers-in-law, John Bearrows (Dina) and James Bearrows (Sandy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fuquay-Varina United Methodist Church (100 S Judd Pkwy SE, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
