It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Smith of Garland, North Carolina, who passed away on March 22, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Marvin Hammond and George Elton Hammond; her siblings-in-law, Tommy Rogers, Woody Hall and Sadie Hammond; her friend Penny Utterback; and her father Chevy II.
She is survived by: her husband Lacy Farril Smith Jr.; her daughters, Jacqueline Creedmore (Marshall) and Ginny Smith (Matthew O'Neill); her pets, Mia and Baby Frank; her siblings, Clyde Hammond (Annette), David Hammond (Nancy), Susie Rogers, Doris Horne (Wayne) and Sondra Guyton (Clifton); her sisters-in-law, Margaret Hammond, Millie Hammond, Phyllis Smith, Jane Hall and Teresa Kornegay (Floyd); and her close friends, Dr. Robert and Faye Rich. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
