He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie F. McKoy and Alfonso Carter; and his brother Ray Charles McKoy. He is survived by: his close friend Sheverlon Powell; his sisters, Alice F. McKoy of Philadelphia, PA, Deborah and Arlene McKoy; his aunts, Willnetta Hammonds of Philadelphia, PA and Zula McKoy of Collins, MS.; and his cousin Dianne Badger of Elizabethtown, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
