She was predeceased by: her parents, Jefferson Davis and Julia Cox Davis; her husband Charles Lynbryd Townsend; her siblings, Charles Linwood Townsend, Dan Ray Townsend, Johnnie Ray Townsend and Andreal Townsend; and her granddaughter Vanessa Townsend.
She is survived by: her children, Lina Jackson of Garland, Jeffrey Townsend (Helen) of Fayetteville, Bobby Townsend (Wendy) of Garland, Diane Robinson (George Curtis) of Rose Hill, Jerome Townsend (Pandora) of Clinton and Vivian Townsend (JC) of Harrells. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
