She is survived by: her son Alexander Murphy, Jr. of Raleigh; her brother James Curtis Cheek of New York; her siblings-in-law, Bobbie Murphy (Clara), Carolyn Holder (Warren), Margaret Merritt (Donald Wayne), Evelyn Murphy and Diane Murphy; her granddaughters, McKenzie Murphy, Yolanda Henry Flores (Marcos), Kayla Henry Flores (Mario) and Keiona Henry; and her great grandchildren, Harper Flores, Chance Flores, Mateo Flores, Aubrey Henry and Creed Flores.
