Anna Luise Bex Brinkley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Luise Bex Brinkley (Garner, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 30, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Balthasar Bex and Herta Hehs Bex; her husband L. Frank Brinkley; and her siblings, Kurt Rainer Bex (Gisela) and Erika Gerlach (Gunter).
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia B. Simmons (David) of Garner and Sharon Lee "Blondy" Brinkley of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Johanna Simmons Brinkley (Jared) of New Bern and Michael Simmons (Abbey) of Raleigh; and her great grandchildren, Weldon "Wells" Taylor Brinkley, Chesson Bex Brinkley and Sunday Drü Simmons. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
