He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Hinz and Ida Hinz (Waldo); and his son Kyle Hinz. He is survived by: his wife Kay Hall; his sons, Paul Louis Hinz and Anthony John Hinz; his daughter-in-law Karen Hinz; his grandchildren, Allison, Justin and Kylie; and his sisters, Carol, Amy and Leah.
A memorial service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mid-Way Baptist Church (6910 Fayetteville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603).
