He is survived by: his daughter Beth Strauss (Alan); his granddaughter Cheyenne Ernest (Cody); his great grandchildren, Claire and Cooper; his granddaughter Cierra Ciarniello (Josh); and his brother Randy Long.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Andrews Methodist Church (1201 Maxwell Dr, Raleigh, NC 27603).
