She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond. She is survived by: her daughter Caroline Fortmeyer Johnson; her grandson Karl W.; her children, Rebecca "Becky" Fortmeyer von St Paul, Kurt C. Fortmeyer (Nina) and Katherine "Kate" Fortmeyer Beck; her grandchildren, Franklin "Ryan" Johnson (Stacie), Kendra Fortmeyer, Dakota Taylor-Beck (Erika), Max von St Paul (Elizabeth), Dr. Ivy Fortmeyer and Dylan Beck (Reena); and her great grandchildren, Aidan, Leo, Lily and Ava.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Life Lutheran Church (2100 Buffaloe Rd, Garner, NC 27529).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Connie's name to Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Appalachian Wildlife Rescue http://www.appalachianwild.org. , or to a charity of their choice.
