We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2025, at the age of 82, Edna Johnson (Garner, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Edna is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Edna's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus Wilbur Payne and Louise Payne. She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Johnson West (Kenneth West) and Catherine Lynn Johnson; her brother Harold W. Payne; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Ann West and Mark Kenneth West.
