He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lee and Vadie Lee; and his brother Johnny Wayne Lee. He is survived by: his wife Helen Lee; his children, Venae King (Doug King) and Graham Lee (Tracy Lee); his grandchildren, Jessica (Scott Pearce), Justin (Cortney Lee) and Mackenzie (David Finol); his stepgrandchildren, Christina King and Andrew King; and his great grandchildren, Kyleigh Parker, Emma Parker, Levi Parker, Makayla Finol, Noah Finol, Josie Mae Finol, Branson Lee, Braelynn Lee, Brooklyn Lee, Briggs Lee, Rhett King and Beau King.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Mount Herman Christian Church (8925 White Oak Rd, Garner, NC 27529). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:45 PM.
