With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Forrester Clark Smith Jr. of Garner, North Carolina, who passed away on December 4, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrester Clark Smith and Harriet Sturgis Smith; and his brother Charles Russel Lowell Smith. He is survived by: his spouse Tracey W. Smith; his children, AJ Wypychoski and Amanda Smith; his sister Harriet Riegel (Guy Riegel); and his in-laws, N. Jackie Marsala and Joe Marsala.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Montlawn Funeral Home (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park Funerals & Cremations (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Chip.
