He was predeceased by: his mother Ella Mae Hocutt; and his brothers, Robert Eugene Hocutt, Billy Wayne Hocutt and Roger Ray Hocutt. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Scott Hocutt; his daughter Sharon Hocutt Fentem; his son-in-law Timothy Fentem; his grandchildren, Shari Labian (Eric Labian), Alex Fentem and Nick Fentem; his great grandchildren, Jonli Labian and Sarah Labian; and his sisters, Betty Jo Crocker and Peggy Crocker.
