Joann B. Williams Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joann B. Williams (Garner, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kendall Hart Benton and Evelyn Weiss Benton; and her sister Lynda Benton Matthews. She is survived by: her husband Harold A. Williams, Jr.; her daughter Michelle W. Currin (J. Bobby Currin II); her stepgrandsons, Jason C. Currin (Gris), Steven D. Currin (Jan Currin) and P. Scott Currin (Samantha Currin); her great grandchildren, Ella Ann Currin and Mattie Lynn Currin; and her cousin Gail W. Thomas. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home- Garner (1200 Benson Rd, Garner, NC 27529).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joann's memory to a charity of your choice.
