She was predeceased by: her parents, John Langley Satterthwaite, Sr. and Kathleen Holder Satterthwaite; and her siblings, Polly Wade, Nancy Wade, Jeanie Squires, Bonnie Satterthwaite, James "JD" Dupree, John Satterthwaite, Jr. and David Satterthwaite.

She is survived by: her nephew Tim Lee. She is also survived by sister.

In lieu of flowers, donations of crocheted hats for preemie babies and cancer patients can be made in her memory.
