He was predeceased by: his parents, Peyton Boyce and Maude Boyce; his wife Mary Ellen Boyce; his son Michael Grey Boyce; and his sister Jean Boyce Bailey.

He is survived by: his daughter Julie Boyce Petit (Rusty); his grandchildren, Nicholas Boyce, Brandy Bryant, Jessica Boyce and Seth Boyce; and his great grandchildren, Camren Julian Boyce, Hazen Michael Boyce and Liam Ridge Bryant. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
