She was predeceased by : her parents, Odell Tart and Inez Clark Tart; her son Dell Green; and her sister Wanda Tart Thomas. She is survived by : her daughter Debra Mills Holloway (Brian); her grandchildren, Logan, Megan Mills, Alex and Ashley Green; her great grandchildren, Natalie Mills and Zoey Green (Violet Marley); her sister Bess Tart Parham (Robbie); and her brother-in-law Billy Thomas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home (1200 Benson Rd, Garner, NC 27529). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church (6020 Rock Quarry Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610).
