She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Hampton Harley and Era Elizabeth Harley; her husband Willie Travis "Red" Treece; and her daughter Susan Treece Gant. She is survived by: her daughter Donna Treece Sides of Garner; her grandchildren, Col. Wesley Reid Sides (Dana) of Corpus Christi, Jordan Gant (Gregory Connuck) of Asheville and Roger Gant IV (Staci Dubbe) of Nashville, Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Reid Sides and Hadley Rhys Sides; her son-in-law Roger Gant III of Burlington; her sister Ladonne H. Hearne of Hampstead; her niece Linda Hearne Tunner; Jatrin Headen. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews; and a special friend.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethany United Methodist Church (2411 US-52, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
