She was predeceased by: her parents, Hunter Moore and Donnie Parker Moore; her husband Hugh Lassiter; her son Michael Lassiter; and her siblings, H. V. Moore, Junius Moore, Thomas Moore and Reba Moore Massengill.

She is survived by: her children, Betsy Lassiter Byrd (Linwood), Ronald Hugh Lassiter (Donna) and Danny Willis Lassiter (Carole); and her sisters, Majorie Moore Dunn, Catherine Moore Keene, Faye Moore Adams and Hilda Moore Beasley. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
