He is survived by: his children, Cheryl R. Hackett, Kimberley D. H. Ramsey (Anthony), Bryan E. Hackett, Tracee M. Hackett, Christine Johnson (Craig) and Marcus O. Hackett (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Corey Hackett Greene (Keyana), Tyrissa Hackett-Sharadin (Shawn), Sierrah Hackett, Elisabeth Ramsey, Anthony Ramsey Jr., Mikel Hackett, Miniya Hackett and Dakota Laskey; and his great grandchildren, Shawn Sharadin Jr. and Daniel Sharadin. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with our beloved father Ozzie's heartfelt wishes, we kindly ask that donations be made to support scholarships for students at Cheyney University (c/o P.O. Box 40595, Raleigh, NC 27629), his cherished Alma Mater and the nation's first HBCU.
