We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2024, at the age of 78, Patricia Anne Johnson Maynard (Garner, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul J Johnson and Mabel P Hicks. She is survived by : her husband Donald Maynard (Donnie); her daughter Mary-Margaret Manlove (Matthew); and her sisters, Paulette Slayton (Lacy) and Mary-Gail Ellington. She is also survived by her family, friends.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Mt. Zion Methodist Church, designated for the Paul J. Johnson Memorial Scholarship.

“Aww, Mr. don, sending big hugs to you and everyone. She was the sweetest woman and would light up the room. She had the biggest heart and reflected Gods love in all she did. I’ll never forget how she went above and beyond to help me teach my students about wool and sheep for a Christmas time lesson. Sending big hugs your way and many prayers as she is resting sweetly with Jesus and we are all here thinking of her!”
