She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Beard (James); her son-in-law Robert Werner; her grandchildren, Kimberly Urban (Brian), Jeffrey Beard (Stacy Walls), Brian Beard (Amanda) and Robert Werner; her great grandchildren, Claire Urban, Zachary Urban, Brant Beard and Grace Beard; and her niece Joan Scullin.

A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
