He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Sandeford Meyer and Emma Louise Proctor. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Meyer of Raleigh; his sons, Lee Meyer (Anna) of Washington, DC, Benjamin Meyer (Jessica) of Smithfield and William "Billy" Phillips Meyer of Garner; his siblings, Virginia Coleman of Rocky Mount, Betty K. Clayton of Clayton, Sam Meyer of Winston Salem, Charles Meyer of Rocky Mount and Mike Meyer of Creedmoor; and his grandsons, Justin Jablonksi, Jason Jablonski and Sam Meyer.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home- Garner (1200 Benson Rd, Garner, NC 27529). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home (1200 Benson Rd, Garner, NC 27529).
