He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Gray and Hazel Linton Pearson; his true love Kimberlyn Denise Bishop; Atlas Benjamin Pearson and Elsie Pearson Conner.
He is survived by: his children, Shanna Radford (Gene) of Gaston, NC, Myah Odom (Cole) of Wilmington, NC, Codie Lassiter of Gaston, NC and Kyle Pearson (Tuck) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his grandchildren, Tristian Hux, Kimmie Bradley, Gene Radford, II and Benny Cole; and his sisters, Darlene Whitby and Vickie Writtenberry. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Wrenn Funeral Home (1015 W 5th St, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery (421 Lawrenceville Rd, Gaston, NC 27832).
