He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Cochran and Brenda Faye Ensley Cantrell. He is survived by: his daughters, Katie Cochran and Victoria Lowder; his siblings, Jeff Cochran (Ann), Joel Cochran (Kristi) and Candace Neill (Randy); his grandchildren, Noah and Maddalyn; his siblings' children, Nicholas, Meaggan, Natalie, Crystal, Hunter, Nathan, Jimmy and Chuck; and his siblings-in-law, Jimmy and Elizabeth Edwards.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ridge Baptist Church (3818 Old York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28056). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at the Gaston Memorial Park (1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
