He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Joseph and Lucille Porch Hubbard; his wife Camille Bobbitt Hubbard; and his siblings, Franklin Delano Hubbard (F. D.), Robert J. Hubbard, Jr., Gertrude H. Bennett, Pauline H. Sandeford and Barbara Ann H. Floyd.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Gwendolyn C. Hubbard of Littleton, Bruce Bobbitt (Vickie) of Chase City, Virginia and Diana Bobbitt of Littleton; his friends, Bobby and Jean Colston; and his caregiver Ashley Ferguson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shiloh Methodist Church (421 Lawrenceville Rd, Gaston, NC 27832). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Cedarwood Cemetery (1100 W 4th St, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Shiloh Methodist Church.
